The last block on each CDROM is unreadable, and most of the CDROMs have
only one file, so most of the data is unreadable. Only the four
bold rectangles represent readable images. Note that these are 11-bit
RGB images, so some programs will display badly or not at all.
The image below left is the leftmost (red) image. We used ENVI to cut it from 3*11-bits to 3*8 bits through opaque means. The detail to the right proves that it really is a color image.
This is the same image with saturation kicked up, and rotated so
we are facing south.
I don't understand the fine points of manipulating suration, brightness,
and contrast.
