WashDOT built the Milepost31 Museum in Pioneer Square during the construction of the Waterfront Tunnel to educate the public and to tempt them to brave the construction area. Later, the physical Milepost31 museum was converted to a web site. When the DOT demolished the viaduct, they also demolished the web site. How odd.
