This seems to be a copy of the public-domain data which can be purchased on DVD form NASA at $60/area. It is the mean of the 9 component 1-second cells, in constrast to the free USGS data which is the center of the 9 component cells. Many people will be annoyed to find that the blw files cause it to import in decimal seconds rather than decimal degrees. This version2 data has fewer nulls than version1, but see srtm.csi.cgiar.org and www.worldwildlife.org/freshwater/hydrosheds.cfm for enhanced DEMs.
