Harvey's cheat sheet for the second editing demo

• Open ArcCatalog and find a directory you like
• File: new File GeoDatabase
• Give it a cool name
• Select it
• File: new Feature Class
• Name: blotch, Type: polygon, next, select coordinate system
• click on Field Name and Data Type to add an item.
• File: new Feature Class
• Name: road Type: line next, import coordinate system (add folder)
• Drag these features to arcmap
• Find the editor bar and start editing
• Select the area/database that you will work in.
• On the right of the edit toolbas, seelct your target.
• Draw a polygon. double-click to end
• From the layer list, right-click on blotch and open the attribute table
• Fill in the soil type
• Select target road
• Digitize. End by double-clicking
• Open table to change values.
