Mettman Ridge, Coos Bay, Oregon
Mettman Ridge is an extensively-studied site, but has anyone put
together a web site for it?
Anyway, here is a draft picture for John to admire.

grid that I inadvertently truncated to integer Z.
Newsflash 11/21/96
The Coos Bay site slid. The lower half (from the shed on down)
mobilized into a debris flow, traveling all the way to Sullivan Creek!
Another slide (most likely an expansion of the 1992 slide) evacuated as
well.
Over 6 inches of rain in town over a 24 hr period.
